About Matt

Matt recently completed a tennis scholarship at an American University and graduated in Business Administration and Finance with a minor in Mathematics achieving a 3.68 GPA. He is now continuing to play tennis, competing in regional and national tournaments whilst coaching players at Solihull Arden Club. He has many years of experience in tennis coaching and enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities, helping them to reach their goals and aspirations. Matt wanted to combine his passion for tennis and experiences in life with the many skills he gained while attending University and so with his business partner Ferran, came up with the idea of an exchange program promoting experiences, friendship, growing as a person, and playing sports. To help aid the business, Matt is now learning Spanish.

Playing Experience

Aged 24, currently Matt is competing at a high level all around England in British Tours and other national events. He started playing tennis at the age of 7 and has had the drive to improve in every way he can ever since. At the age of 15, 17, and 18, Matt went off to academies such as Juan Carlos Ferrero Academy, Guillermo Vilas Tennis Academy, and Valencia Tennis Academy in Spain for a few weeks, learning from the hard work ethic of the Spanish students and coaches on the clay in the hot summer weather. Aged 18, Matt continued his travels, jetting off to West Liberty University in West Virginia on a tennis scholarship. He continued to improve his game and excel,  receiving many ITA student athlete awards for a high GPA and athletic performance. Matt and his team were three times conference champions, making regional finals in all three years. Achieving a team ranking of 48 nationally, Matt enjoyed his time at West Liberty and received the most improved player award for the Atlantic Region in his senior year
