GSE Performance Tennis Camp

At our tennis residential you will experience tactical, technical, physical and psychological training all specific to tennis. Each day is themed and covers a range of shots to help your child get ready for competition.

Our Programme

Far more than just tennis, our programme has other sports, games, language activities, team events, evening events and so much more for your children to experience.

What are the age groups for the camps?

We have two different age groups running in our camp. This is simply so that our campers can have more fun with children who are similar ages to them. During tennis sessions we may mix this up depending on their tennis ability.

How much training will be done each day?

Days will vary however days will consist of four 1.5 hour sessions and will cover fitness sessions, tennis, video analysis, mental training and other sports. Players can also choose to do Spanish for one session per day instead of tennis/sports.

What fitness training will our Campers do?

The fitness sessions will be suited to the age of the player and will consist of on court sessions: speed, agility, balance, stamina, footwork sessions. Along with gym sessions focused on strength, injury prevention and stretching.

What tennis standard do our campers have to be?

Our camps will be grouped into ability level ranging from children playing at club level to players playing at regional and national level. The main thing is that everyone at the camp loves tennis and wants to train to their potential.

Can our Campers do Spanish sessions?

Our Campers have the option to do a sports/tennis session or participate in Spanish tutoring ran by our qualified Spanish tutors. These will be ran in classrooms and will be game based learning supplementing our booklet to promote our Campers learning Spanish which they can practice with our other native Spanish Campers.

What are the special events in the evening?

Each evening we have different events scheduled for our campers including Xbox game nights, discos, adventure games, table-tennis and dodgeball tournaments and many more fun activities.

Can I go on the weekend trip to Bristol?

Anyone signed up for the two weeks of the camp will be able to join us on our Bristol trip. During our trip we will explore the city and see the famous Clifton bridge.

How can I get to the camp?

You have three different options:

  1. You can choose our coach transport from Birmingham.
  2. You can drop off your child at the school and meet our GSE Team there.
  3. If there are group bookings from other areas in the UK above 10 people we can arrange transport to the venue.
